The Respiratory System Project

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The Science unit we have been studying is “The Human Body.” We learned about the circulatory system for the past few weeks, and we are now studying the respiratory system. As a culminating project/test, scholars are to create a model of the respiratory system. They can be as creative as they want on the materials they use.
Make sure the system you create shows what you learned in Science class. Some ideas include, (using poster board and/or construction paper to draw a picture, using clay to mold the different parts, using paper towel tubes and toilet paper tubes, etc.)
Please allow your child to complete the work. This is their project and their time to SHINE!! Scholars have been very excited about the human body! They have shared stories with peers about people who have smoked or have had heart attacks and asked inquisitive questions.
