Scholars will be taking the Scholastic Math Inventory tomorrow during Technology (Kirchner's homeroom) and on Monday, October 5th during Technology (Nauman's homeroom). Please make sure your child arrives to school on time and has a healthy breakfast.
Parent letters were sent home in your child's Monday folder this week regarding the STAR assessment that was given school-wide. Your child's results were on this parent letter along with some strategies to work on to help them improve. They do not need to be signed and returned; it is for you to keep. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact your child's homeroom teacher. Thank you. :0)

Reminder of Scholastic Orders
Just a friendly reminder that Mrs. Nauman's next Scholastic order will be placed on October 16th. The new October flyer was sent in your child's Monday folder this week.
Scholars are very excited about the flyers! Each child in my homeroom class picked a bookmark (I survived, Captain Underpants, Wings of Fire, or Ever After High).
If you would like to place an order and need it to be shipped sooner than the 16th of October, please let me know. I try to have as many scholars/parents order at one time (free shipping).
My class code is JKKPC!
Thank you to all the parents who ordered in the month of September! Scholars cannot wait to see what they get in October.

Think Central
The Thinkcentral.com website is up and running. I have inputted all scholars' names. They can visit this site and play the games. Remember their username is their first initial and their last name. The password is imagine1. If your child's name does not work with their first initial last name, please add the number 1 after it. Some scholars were here from last year in Ms. Cook's class, so their username had to change for 4th grade. If you have any questions, please email me. Thank you. ~Mrs. Nauman, NBCT

Thank you
Thank you to everyone who helped in some way to make our school-wide field trip to Andrews Air Show a success. The Scholastic Books did come TODAY, but unfortunately due to the late arrival of the bus and the departure of our scholars I was unable to distribute the books. If you ordered, your child will have their NEW books on Monday! I know they were excited to receive them. Please look for the new Scholastic flyers in October in your child's Monday folder.
