OCTOBER READING LOG

October Reading Logs are due Wednesday, November 5th. However, if Scholars want or need to boost their first quarter report card reading grade, they can turn in their October Reading Logs early on Friday, October 31st.

This is a friendly reminder that there is no school for students this Friday, October 17.  

Progress Reports

First quarter progress reports were given to students on Friday, October 10th. Please keep in mind that the grades on these reports are approximately 2 weeks old.  Your child's current grades can be viewed on SchoolMax.  If you need access to SchoolMax, please contact  Mrs. Brinson in the main office.

Youth Center

This is just a friendly reminder that there is school for students this coming Monday, October 13, however the Youth Center is CLOSED in observance of Columbus Day.

Thank you to all the parents who came to the Book Fair to help support our school! Ms. Carter and I greatly appreciated the donated books to our classroom libraries. You are able to buy books from the book fair online until Sunday.

Scholastic Book Fair order forms will be sent home monthly from Ms. Carter and I, so there is always an opportunity to get new books for your child and promote reading! Thank you again.

Updates!

Thank you to all parents who have given Science donations. It is very much appreciated. Just a few reminders:

1. Box Tops "Where are they coming from?" contest ends October 17th! Please continue to have friends, relatives, etc. send in Box tops to Imagine Andrews. The winner with the farthest postmarked destination will receive a $50 gift card.
2. We are still collecting Box Tops for each homeroom class. Keep clipping and sending them in. We have a traveling trophy for the winning class of the month. We did well for September, but let's strive to do better. Our goal this year is to earn $3,200 for Imagine Andrews!!
